Uzhydromet has published the weather forecast for May 26 to May 28 across the regions of Uzbekistan.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the weather will be partly cloudy and variable in some areas, with no precipitation expected. Easterly winds are forecast to blow at speeds of 7–12 m/s, occasionally increasing to 13–18 m/s and accompanied by dust in some places. Nighttime temperatures will range from 15–20°C on May 26 and 13–18°C on May 27–28. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 27–32°C on May 26 and 28, and 25–30°C on May 27.
In Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will also be partly cloudy and changeable in certain areas, with no precipitation forecast. Winds from the east will blow at 7–12 m/s, with gusts reaching 13–18 m/s and dusty conditions in some locations. Nighttime temperatures will be 17–22°C on May 26 and 15–20°C on May 27–28. Daytime highs will range from 27–32°C on May 26 and 28, and 25–30°C on May 27.
Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions will experience partly cloudy skies, variable in places, with no rain expected. Easterly winds will blow at 7–12 m/s, with occasional gusts reaching 13–18 m/s, accompanied by dust in some areas. Nighttime temperatures are forecast at 15–20°C. Daytime highs will reach 30–35°C on May 26, 25–30°C on May 27, and 27–32°C on May 28.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will be slightly cloudy and variable, with no precipitation expected. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some areas on May 26–27, occasionally accompanied by dust. Nighttime temperatures will be 18–23°C, with daytime highs of 30–35°C on May 26 and 28, and 27–32°C on May 27.
Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions will experience slightly cloudy and changeable weather. In some areas, short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur. Easterly winds will blow at 5–10 m/s, rising to 13–18 m/s in certain places on May 26–27. Night temperatures will range from 15–20°C, while daytime highs will be 27–32°C on May 26, and 25–30°C on May 27–28.
In mountainous and foothill regions of the country, the weather will be slightly cloudy, with short-term rain and thunderstorms possible in some areas. Easterly winds are expected at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in certain places. Nighttime temperatures will be between 8–13°C. Daytime temperatures will range from 15–20°C on May 26 and 28, and 12–17°C on May 27.
Authorities remind the public that due to expected rainfall from May 23–27, there is a risk of flooding in mountainous and foothill areas of the country, particularly in eight regions.
