«Strandja-2022»: Uzbek boxers ranked first in the team-wide standings

The international tournament «Strandja-2022», known as the «Small World Championship», ended on 27 February, in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In competitions, the Uzbekistan national team won 6 gold and 1 bronze medal and took the first place in the team-wide standings. Russia ranked second with 5 gold medals (2 men, 3 women), and Kazakhstan finished in the top three with 4 gold medals (2 men, 2 women).

For reference, the tournament was held for the 73rd time in its history. In the tournament more than 370 male and female boxers from 37 countries participated. The competition was held in 13 weight categories for men and 12 for women. Uzbekistan took part in the tournament with 8 male boxers and 5 female boxers.
