In October, over 6 million liters of substandard gasoline were discovered at gas stations in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Uzenergoinspeksiya.

During quality control inspections conducted by the control and chemical laboratories of 'Uzenergoinspeksiya,' a total of 6,105,000 liters of petroleum products were found to be of poor quality in 91 cases. These products were prevented from being sold to the public.

Instructions were issued to those responsible for swiftly addressing the identified deficiencies, and their progress in implementing these measures was closely monitored.

It is worth noting that earlier, it was determined that the quality of gasoline stored at various oil bases, including Kuchlik (73.2 tons), Navoi (38.7 tons), Urganch (2,072,000 tons), and Bukhara (1,860,000 tons), did not meet the standard requirements.

Additionally, restrictions on gasoline purchases have been imposed on several car refueling stations in Uzbekistan that were found to have sold low-quality gasoline and unreasonably raised their prices.
