Individuals using counterfeit dollars were apprehended in Tashkent

Those who attempted to sell 18,800 fake US dollars were apprehended in Tashkent, as reported by the department affiliated with the Prosecutor General's Office.
The operation was carried out jointly by the Tashkent city administration of the department under the General Prosecutor's Office, in collaboration with personnel from the State Security and Defense Ministry.
During the operation, individuals A.R., I.I., and others were apprehended while attempting to sell 18,800 counterfeit US dollars to A.Q. for 141 million soums in the Yashnobod district. A total of 283 counterfeit 100 US dollar bills were seized from them as physical evidence.
According to the report, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 176 of the Criminal Code (production and trafficking of counterfeit currency, excise stamps, or securities), and an investigation is currently underway.
