A photograph depicting the asphalt collapse on Istiqbol Street in Tashkent circulated on social media. The Mirobod district administration briefly responded to the incident.
The image reveals a substantial cavity in the road's center.
Officials from the administration promptly arrived at the site following the directives of the Mirobod district governor.
"The vicinity of the cavity has been secured, and efforts are underway to resolve the issue," the report stated.
The cause of the collapse remains undisclosed.
