A fire broke out at the landfill in Navoi

Yesterday, on 27 February, a fire broke out at a landfill in Uchkuduq district of Navoi region. This was reported by the press service of the district administration.

It is noted that the landfill is located 10-12 km from the center of the district, and the smoke generated by this burning did not have any effect on the residents of the center of the district.

“In connection with this situation, a working group consisting of representatives of the official office was formed under the district administration. The fire at the landfill was extinguished by the district emergency department,” the report said.

Also, the Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Navoi region said that this issue will be studied and additional information will be provided.
