The majority of Uzbekistan's population succumbs to circulatory system ailments, as reported by the Statistics Agency.
In the period of January to March 2024, 57.9 percent of recorded deaths were attributed to circulatory diseases. Respiratory diseases accounted for 7.5 percent, tumors for 9.1 percent, accidents, injuries, and poisonings for 4.5 percent, diseases of digestive organs for 4.1 percent, infectious and parasitic diseases for 1.2 percent, and other diseases for 15.7 percent.
It's worth noting that earlier, the average monthly salary in Uzbekistan by the end of the 1st quarter of 2024 was disclosed.
