Re-registration fee for vehicles was reverted to its previous amount

In early last month, there was a significant outcry over a 68-fold increase in registration and re-registration fees for cars in Uzbekistan. However, just a month later, this measure was revoked, returning the fees to their original price. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Polat Bobojonov, issued an order to this effect.
As per the new directive, the re-registration fee for motor vehicles, electric cars, and trailers now stands at 10 percent of the BCA (34 thousand soums).
It's worth noting that as of April this year, the re-registration fee for electric cars, motor vehicles, and trailers was set at 1.5 times the BCA (510 thousand soums), while for other cars, it was 6.84 times the BCA (2 million 325 thousand soums).
