Some streets in Tashkent closed due to Jennifer Lopez's concert

On August 7, several streets in Tashkent were temporarily closed due to the concert of singer Jennifer Lopez at Bunyodkor Stadium, located in the Chilonzor district. The concert is scheduled to begin at 19:00, according to the capital’s Road Safety Department.

Vehicle movement will be completely restricted in the following areas of the Chilonzor district from 12:00 to 23:00:

 From the intersection of Choponota and Qatortol streets along Choponota Street to the intersection with Chilonzor Street;
 From the intersection of Choponota and Chilonzor streets along Chilonzor Street to the intersection with KHAY Street;
 Bunyodkor Secondary Street: from KHAY to Choponota Street.

“We apologize for the inconvenience and recommend using bypass and adjacent streets,” the department stated.

It was previously reported that Bunyodkor Stadium will host a concert by global superstar Jennifer Lopez as part of her “Up All Night – Live in 2025” world tour. This marks the singer’s first performance in Uzbekistan and is part of a series of events initiated by the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Arts aimed at promoting international cultural cooperation and boosting the country’s tourism sector.
