The arrest of car dealership owners involved in defrauding citizens of 6,155 million soums was reported by UzA.

It was revealed that three individuals with a prior criminal history established a car dealership called "My-Cars" on Alisher Navoi Street in the capital.

Between January 16, 2022, and August 2, 2023, these accomplices deceived 74 citizens by promising to deliver vehicles within three months, amassing a total of 6,155,000,000 soums through fraudulent means.

During transactions, they falsely claimed to have contracts with "GM Uzbekistan."

The Shaikhontohur district court convicted the defendants under Article 168 of the Criminal Code, sentencing them to 8-9 years in prison.
