The Foreign Labor Migration Agency called on Uzbeks working in Russia to be aware. The agency reported this on its official page.
It is noted that recently there have been cases of various frauds related to banking services among labor migrants working in the Russian Federation. In particular, in the process of using the mobile application to transfer money to relatives, there are problems such as withdrawing money from the account number of the labor migrant or issuing high-interest loans in his/her name.
Law enforcement agencies have launched a number of investigations into these cases.
"In this regard, we ask our compatriots to be careful when using banking services, especially money transfer systems, and not to disclose personal information to anyone," the agency said.
