Snowfall expected tomorrow: Uzhydromet  releases forecast

Uzhydromet has issued the weather forecast for January 31, predicting partly cloudy conditions across much of Uzbekistan, with light snowfall and fog expected in some regions.  

In Tashkent, the weather will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of snow. Fog may develop at night and in the early morning. A westerly wind will blow at 5–10 m/s. Temperatures will range from 0 to -2 degrees at night and 0 to +2 degrees during the day.  

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, partly cloudy skies are expected, with no precipitation. Fog may form in some areas. Winds will shift from west to east at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will drop to -1 to -6 degrees, while daytime temperatures will range from 0 to +5 degrees.  

The Bukhara region will experience partly cloudy conditions with no expected precipitation. Fog may appear in certain areas. Winds will shift from west to east at 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will range from -2 to -7 degrees at night and from +2 to +7 degrees during the day.  

In the Navoi region, partly cloudy skies are expected, with a chance of light snowfall and fog. A westerly wind will blow at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be between -2 and -7 degrees, while daytime temperatures will range from 0 to +5 degrees.  

The Tashkent region will have slightly cloudy skies, with the possibility of light snowfall and fog. Winds will blow from the west at 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will range from -0 to -5 degrees at night and from +2 to +7 degrees during the day.  

In the Samarkand, Syrdarya, and Jizzakh regions, partly cloudy conditions will prevail, with no precipitation expected. Fog may form in some places. Winds will shift from west to east at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be between -0 and -5 degrees, with daytime highs of 0 to +5 degrees.  

The Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions will experience partly cloudy conditions with no precipitation expected. Fog may appear in some areas. Winds will shift from west to east at 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will range from -0 to -5 degrees at night and from +2 to +7 degrees during the day.  

In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, skies will be partly cloudy, with light snowfall and fog possible in some places. A westerly wind will blow at 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be between -0 and -5 degrees, with daytime highs of 0 to +5 degrees.  

The foothills and mountainous regions of the country will have slightly cloudy skies, with occasional snowfall and fog. A westerly wind will blow at 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will drop to -7 to -12 degrees at night and remain between -2 and -7 degrees during the day.
