Dollar exchange rate falls below 12,000 soums

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has set the exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum, effective May 25.
According to the regulator, the official US dollar exchange rate decreased by 41.58 soums and was set at 11,979.64 soums.
The euro also fell by 77.1 soums and was set at 13,901.17 soums.
The Russian ruble decreased by 2.01 soums and reached 167.52 soums.
The Chinese yuan fell by 5.16 soums and was set at 1,763.16 soums.
The price of one gram of gold rose by 4,700 soums and reached 1,858,700 soums.
According to TradingView, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on May 22, the price of bitcoin decreased by 1,852,113 soums and was set at 925,245,981 soums.
