Matiz driver with a record number of traffic violations identified in Tashkent

A Matiz driver in Tashkent committed 912 traffic violations within one year and was fined 331 million soums, the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement reported.
It was found that the Matiz vehicle belonging to the debtor had been used to repeatedly and grossly violate traffic rules from April 2024 to the present. As a result, 912 administrative fines were issued, creating a debt of more than 311 million soums. The debt continued to accumulate, and the vehicle was put on the wanted list.
As a result of operational search and enforcement measures, the Matiz vehicle was found and placed in an impound lot yesterday, May 15.
It is worth noting that it was earlier reported that the number of drivers in Uzbekistan whose penalty points had reached 12 had risen to 49.
