New Tashkent expansion: Additional land secured

An additional land plot in the Yukori Chirchik district of Tashkent region has been allocated for the development of the New Tashkent city. This decision was formalized through a decree issued by Tashkent Regional Governor Zoir Mirzaev.

According to the governor's decree, 122.3 hectares of land from the Yukori Chirchik district have been granted for the construction of New Tashkent.

“The state reserve land in Yukori Chirchik district, described in the annex, measuring 122.3 hectares and designated as non-agricultural, is to be permanently transferred to the New Tashkent City Construction Directorate,” the decree stated.

It was also mentioned that 75.22 hectares from the Bordonko‘l area and 47.1 hectares from the Do‘stlik area have been allocated for this project.

As a reminder, on March 13, 2024, a resolution by the People’s Deputies Council of Tashkent region transferred 19,729.41 hectares of land from the Tashkent region to the New Tashkent district of the capital city. Additionally, on August 22, 2024, a total of 158.67 hectares in the Yukori Chirchik district were allocated for the same purpose. According to Governor Mirzayev’s decree dated October 22, 2024, another 110.4 hectares in the Yukori Chirchik district were returned to the state reserve, reclassified, and permanently handed over to the New Tashkent City Construction Directorate.
