About 57 people got food poisoning in Jizzakh, as reported by the Information Service of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the source, between June 25 and 26 of this year, 57 citizens visited the regional infectious diseases hospital, complaining of diarrhea and high body temperature.
Preliminary laboratory tests confirmed a diagnosis of "acute diarrhea" food poisoning, and all patients were admitted to the hospital for medical treatment.
11 patients received medical assistance and were discharged, while the condition of the remaining 46 patients was reported as satisfactory.
During the investigation conducted by the Jizzakh City Prosecutor's Office prior to the preliminary investigation, it was discovered that the patients had eaten at one of the canteens in the city of Jizzakh. Samples of food products were taken from the scene, and appropriate expertise was appointed for analysis, involving experts in the field.
Additionally, it was reported that the regional prosecutor's office had assumed control over the investigative actions pending further investigation.
