The Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan released the salary rankings for March-January 2024 based on economic sectors.
Service providers in finance and insurance top the list with an average monthly salary of 13.2 million soums, followed by information and communication sector employees at 11.7 million soums. Transportation and storage sector workers rank third, earning 7.3 million soums monthly.
In addition:
- Industry: 6.1 million soums
- Sales: 5.6 million soums
- Construction: 5.3 million soums
Teachers (3.4 million soums) and doctors (3.2 million soums) continue to receive the lowest salaries.
The average monthly salary across the republic during this period stood at 4.9 million soums.
