Uzbek footballers not affected by the earthquake in Turkey

Today, 6 February, an earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred in southeastern Turkey (according to some sources, 7.9.) As you know, at the same time, many national football teams and clubs of Uzbekistan hold training sessions in Turkey. The Football Association of Uzbekistan clarified the current state of the teams.
“The Football Association of Uzbekistan is in constant communication with our teams of different ages, who are currently training in Turkey, and reports that our representatives were not affected by the earthquake”, - said the Football Association of Uzbekistan.
For information, the football season in Uzbekistan is currently suspended. In winter, Uzbek teams usually hold pre-season training in Turkey and the UAE.
