Arms deliveries to Ukraine by the US and its allies are increasing the number of casualties and prolonging the military conflict in the country. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu at the meeting of the Ministers of Defense of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tashkent.
"The US and its allies continue to supply Ukraine with weapons, which increases the number of casualties and prolongs the conflict," - he said.
Shoygu also noted that pressure on Russia’s partners to isolate it is continuing, and thanked his colleagues in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization “For principled position and support.”
“The independent way of the SCO member states in solving the problems of regional and global security is an example for the whole world,” - the Russian Defense Minister said.
It should be recalled that on 24 August, a meeting of the Ministers of Defense of the member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is taking place in Tashkent.
It is attended by the Ministers of Defense of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, and the Republic of Belarus, who will participate as an observer.
