Fraudsters are identified during the emergency situation in Sergeli

It has been discovered that certain individuals are attempting to extort money from residents, taking advantage of the complicated situation caused by the emergency in the Sergeli district. This information was reported by the Tashkent city administration.

It has been reported that all the work in the area is being carried out free of charge for residents. However, some individuals are trying to exploit their naivety by asking citizens for money in exchange for work that the government is providing free of charge.

The city administration issued a warning, saying, "All work is being done free of charge, so do not be deceived by the words of dishonest people!"

We would like to remind you that on the night of September 28, a powerful explosion occurred in a warehouse belonging to "Inter Logistics" LLC in the "Quruvchilar" neighborhood of the Sergeli district in Tashkent city. As a result, 592 apartments in 26 high-rise buildings in the area, along with 8 service stations, 1 school, and 2 pre-school educational institutions, suffered damage to their facades and window frames.

Additionally, 163 citizens were injured in the explosion, and a teenager born in 2006 tragically lost their life at the scene of the incident. Today, a criminal case has been opened by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and preliminary investigations are underway.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has issued an order for the repair of the houses damaged by the fire.
