At the General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), which is being held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Oybek Qosimov, was awarded the Order of Merit. This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC).
Oybek Qosimov was awarded the Order of Meritorious Service by Raja Randhir Singh, the current head of the OCA.
It should be noted that this award is given to officials who have contributed to the development of the Olympic movement on the continent for many years. This order is considered the most prestigious award of the OCA.
It's worth noting that earlier OCA Vice President Otabek Umarov met with the President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan Gennady Golovkin.
