A service inspection is being conducted regarding the employees responsible for the failure of the rescue service to save a 4-year-old boy who was left alone on the 9th floor in Tashkent.  This information was reported by the press service of the Emergency Situations Department of Tashkent City.

According to reports, the incident occurred on the 23rd of May this year, in one of the multi-storey buildings located in the Tuzel-1 massif, Yashnabad district of Tashkent City. Witnesses noticed a 4-year-old boy hanging out of the window and calling for his mother. They managed to calm the child down until his mother arrived and contacted the emergency number 1050. However, despite more than an hour passing, the rescuers did not respond.

"At present, a service check is being conducted against the employees who are responsible for the prompt arrival of the rescue team to the requested address. The investigation has been undertaken by the head of the Emergency Situations Department of Tashkent City. The employees found guilty will face disciplinary action," the report stated.

It has been reported that the emergency department of Tashkent City receives between 400 and 600 calls every day from citizens who find themselves in various situations and require the assistance of rescue teams.

Management has acknowledged that it is an extremely rare occurrence for the rescue team to fail in reaching the specified address on time.

We would like to remind you that a video message circulated showing a young boy who was left alone in one of the apartments on the 9th floor in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent. It was reported that neighbors living in the same building called the emergency number 1050 and requested the assistance of the rescue service, but they did not arrive.
