Mirziyoyev Will Participate in the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union from Tashkent

 President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan will participate in the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union meeting through a video conference, as announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a small gathering of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

Putin mentioned that the meeting, scheduled for the 25th of May, would begin with an exchange of ideas in a limited circle and later continue in an expanded format.

"President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan will also take part via video conference.  Currently, Uzbekistan is engaged in significant internal political processes at a high level.  He kindly requests your understanding regarding his absence in person.  Nevertheless, he will actively participate," stated Putin. 

Furthermore, Putin disclosed that President Ilhom Aliyev of Azerbaijan would be participating in the extended meeting, while President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan would join via video conference.

The meeting also includes the attendance of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia, Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, President Kasim-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, President Sadir Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, and Chairman Mikhail Myasnikovich of the Eurasian Economic Commision. 

Additionally, it is worth mentioning that President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan recently traveled to Moscow, where he is expected to engage in talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, mediated by Putin.
