An infant is said to have died from physicians’ error in Andijan

News spread on social networks that an infant, who was soon to be born, died because doctors failed to bring the pregnant woman in time for surgery in the regional perinatal center of the city of Andijan.
The Andijan Regional Prosecutor’s Office issued an official statement about the death of the newborn child.
The Andijan City Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the situation.
A legal decision will be issued soon according to the outcome of the investigation.
