“Uzgidromet” issued an urgent warning to citizens

There is a risk of snowfall in several regions of the republic between 18-22 November this year. This was reported by the Hydrometeorological Service Center.

Due to the expected periodic heavy precipitation and significant changes in air temperature, in the mountainous regions of the republic, including:

Kashkadarya region: in Kitab, Shahrisabz, Qamashi, and Dehkanabad districts;

Surkhandarya region: in Kumkurgan, Sariosia, Uzun, and Boysun districts;

Jizzakh region: Zomin district;

Tashkent region: Ohangaron, Bostanliq district, and "Chimyon" mountains of Chotkal ridge;

Namangan region: Pop district and Kamchik Pass;

Fergana region: Snow danger is announced in Sokh and Fergana districts.

"Citizens living in mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers moving in mountainous areas are asked to take precautionary measures," Hydromet reports.
