Mirziyoyev, Tokayev and Japarov sign an agreement on cooperation in the 21st century

On 21 July, the final documents were adopted within the framework of the fourth consultative meeting of the leaders of the Central Asian countries, which took place in the city of Cholponota, Issyk-Kul region.  In particular, the leaders of the Central Asian countries adopted a joint statement.

In addition, President Sadir Japarov, President Kasim-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, signed an agreement on friendship, good neighborliness, and cooperation for the development of Central Asia in the 21st century.

According to the press service under the president of Kyrgyzstan, the president of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon and the president of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov will sign this document after the completion of internal procedures in their countries.

The heads of state also approved the concept of mutual cooperation of Central Asian countries within the framework of multilateral formats, the Regional Green Agenda Program for Central Asia, and the "Roadmap" for the development of regional cooperation in 2022-2024. 

In addition, the presidents of the Central Asian countries signed the decision of the founders of the International Fund for Saving Aral sea - Heads of State on expanding the powers of Imamali Rahman as the president of the International Fund for Saving Aral.
