The banks will be open for work on 30 April in Uzbekistan

Tomorrow 30 April, the banking system, financial and tax authorities will operate as usual.  This is stated in a decree signed by the prime minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov.

It is noted that the decree was signed in order to ensure the successful implementation of payments to the State budget and State trust funds, as well as the calculation of pensions and benefits and in addition to ensuring the continuity of payments in the economy.

In order to ensure the successful implementation of payments to the State Budget and State Trust Funds of the Republic of Uzbekistan and pensions and benefits, as well as to ensure the continuity of payments in the economy, some employees of the banking system, finance and tax authorities will be allowed to be attracted to the work on Saturday- 30 April 2022, in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation," – said in the decree.

For reference, banking, financial and tax authorities usually work five days a week.

It should be recalled that on the occasion of Ramadan, Uzbekistan citizens will have a five-day holiday.
